Website Privacy Policy
This policy explains how BaTip handles information when you use the batip.app website. It is separate from the privacy policies for individual BaTip apps.
Performance analytics
BaTip only uses Google Analytics with your consent to record the pages you view and certain actions on batip.app, helping us understand which pages and features are useful and improve the website.
Marketing measurement
For marketing measurement, BaTip may record:
- How you found batip.app, such as through another website or a link shared by BaTip
- Whether you selected a link to open or download a BaTip app
- The app, platform, and location on the page of the selected link
This information helps BaTip understand which sources and public links are useful.
Information not sent to Google Analytics
BaTip does not send content you enter, activity or settings inside BaTip apps, your name, email address, or support email content to Google Analytics.
Legal basis and choice
Optional analytics and marketing measurement are based on your consent. They remain off until you make a positive choice. You may reject them without losing the website's main functionality and may withdraw consent from Cookie settings at any time.
Storage used to remember your cookie choice or a language you explicitly request is used only to provide those requested controls and preferences.
Provider and international processing
Google provides Google Analytics and may process information using infrastructure in multiple countries. Applicable transfer safeguards and processing terms are described in Google's contractual and privacy documentation.
Retention
Google Analytics cookies are configured for 6 months without rolling renewal. Event and user data is configured for 14 months with reset-on-new-activity disabled. The cookie consent record is retained for 6 months and the selected language for 12 months.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the data protection authority responsible for your location.

Children and web apps
Website analytics is not loaded inside the hosted Hi Morse or Hi Eye web apps. Their settings and progress remain in local browser storage unless you clear that data.
Changes
BaTip will update this policy and request a new cookie choice before materially changing analytics purposes or providers. The English version controls if a translation is incomplete or inconsistent.
