Support

Support for Hi Eye.

Use these checks for Hi Eye on iPhone, iPad, Android, or the web. If something still feels off, email support with your platform, device, operating-system version, and what you were trying to do.

Before contacting support

  • Include the Hi Eye version and build number, platform, device model, operating-system version, selected language, whether Use Alarm is enabled, and what happened.
  • Check the reminder warnings in Notifications & sound and, on mobile, try Test real alert in 5 seconds before reporting delivery behavior.
  • For the web app, hard refresh if the page looks stale, keep the tab open until Work ends, and confirm the browser allows notifications for batip.app.

Mobile notifications

In Hi Eye, open More → Notifications & sound and turn on Alert when it is time to rest eyes. The Work bell can turn eye-break reminders on or off, but it never enables Alarm or requests Alarm access.

If Hi Eye shows a reminder warning, open it and follow the suggested system-settings path. On iPhone and iPad, allow Hi Eye notifications and enable Time Sensitive Notifications if you want eligible reminders to be delivered through supported Focus configurations. On Android, allow Hi Eye notifications and keep its reminder channel enabled. Focus, Silent Mode, Do Not Disturb, system settings, and device policy can still quiet, delay, or block an alert.

Optional Alarm

Use Alarm is off by default and appears only on supported devices. Enable it from the alert-sound screen only if you want Hi Eye to request platform Alarm access. iOS 26 or later may request AlarmKit authorization; Android 12 or later may open the app-specific Alarms & reminders setting.

If Alarm access is unavailable, denied, revoked, or scheduling fails, Hi Eye attempts a local notification when notification permission and system delivery settings allow it. Starting Work and using the Work bell do not request Alarm access.

Alert sound and volume

On iPhone and iPad, adjust Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Ringtone and Alerts. On Android, open Settings → Sound & vibration and adjust Alarm volume when Use Alarm is active; otherwise adjust Ring & notification volume. Labels can vary by device manufacturer.

Use Test real alert in 5 seconds in Hi Eye, then leave the app or lock the screen to check the actual delivery path. A sound preview or a successful scheduling message does not guarantee that the later alert will be audible or appear through every system mode.

Web reminders

Hi Eye web reminders use the browser notification permission for batip.app and work only while the current tab or web app instance remains open.

If browser notifications are blocked, allow notifications for batip.app in your browser site settings, then tap the Work bell again.
