Cookies are small text values stored by your browser. BaTip also uses local browser storage for preferences. The same consent rules apply to optional analytics storage regardless of the storage technology used.
The Hi Morse and Hi Eye web apps use local browser storage for app settings and progress. Those app values remain on your device and are not sent to Google Analytics by this website.
Essential storage is not used to measure usage or support marketing. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent the website or web apps from providing their main functions.
After you consent, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies whose names begin with btp_ga, btp_perf_ga, or btp_mkt_ga. They contain a pseudonymous browser identifier and expire after 6 months from creation. Their expiry is not extended on each visit.
Performance analytics uses sanitized page paths. Marketing measurement may use UTM campaign parameters, sanitized referrer paths, and app open or download clicks. BaTip disables Google signals, advertising personalization signals, user-provided data, and user IDs.
Google Analytics is provided by Google. A browser request to Google necessarily includes network and device information such as an IP address and user agent. Google Analytics may derive approximate location and process page paths, campaign values, browser identifiers, device information, and the events described above.
Your consent or rejection is stored for 6 months. Google Analytics cookies are configured for a fixed 6-month lifetime. Google Analytics event and user data is configured for 14 months, with reset-on-new-activity disabled. Standard aggregated reports may be retained separately by Google Analytics.
BaTip reviews these periods when purposes, providers, or legal requirements change.
Use Cookie settings in the website footer at any time. Rejecting stops future optional analytics and removes the corresponding first-party analytics cookies from this browser.
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser. Changing or clearing browser storage may cause the website to ask for your choice again.
BaTip will request a new choice when analytics purposes, providers, or this consent policy materially change.
